The Black Box

Congratulations! You found a knowledge prize. Only 4% of all traffic ever sees this. Prepare to learn the who, what, when, where and why you work with DKW. But let’s not skip ahead just yet. First, “Why the black box?” Great question.

It is a common misconception that “The Black Box” in an airplane is, well, black. It isn’t. The Flight Data Recorder is a bright orange. You are likely to quickly and correctly surmise that this important piece of equipment needs to be easily found.
Keep it simple, paint it orange, important data inside.

The black box is a metaphor. When people ask us; “Who have you worked with as clients?” or “What work have you done for clients?” or “Where has your client work been seen?” They are really asking:

“Why are we a good fit together?”

Like a Flight Data Recorder, that question is unique to each client. Each of our client relationships are measured in years. That’s a long time, each with unique data. Our premise with our clients has always been:

Keep it simple, paint it orange, important data inside.
